YggdrasilIn every day life I work as a scientist at the Belgian Institute for Space Aeronomy, studying planet Earth from above with the help of satellites. The work exposes the natural beauty and complexity of our environment, but also the profound effect on it caused by human activity. After relocating to Brussels from Holland, I found a new environment, new challenges and discoveries , certainly also on the photography level.  When photographing the city, it made me seek the interaction of nature and the world created by mankind.  Two worlds that often clash, but can also meet quite harmoniously; two aspects that one can, for example, find in Brussels architecture.
